Design and Optimization of Hydropneumatic Suspension Simulation Test Bench with Electro-Hydraulic Proportional Control

Available hydropneumatic suspension simulation test benches have insufficient loading accuracy and limited functionality rendering them unsuitable for performance testing of heavy vehicles with this type suspension. Therefore, a multi-functional compound bench was designed that used an electro-hydraulic proportional control technique. A mathematical model established to describe the hydraulic system, transfer function system derived. The gain phase margins confirmed stability system. in Simulink environment step sine signals different frequencies were applied separately analyze dynamic characteristics results showed responded slowly exhibited lag signal distortion. improved by incorporating adaptive fuzzy PID controller. Simulation response stabilized at preset value within 0.3 s no oscillation or overshoot. performed well replicating random vibrations operating on Class B C roads. This can satisfy requirements vehicle suspensions be as such suspensions.
